So after posting on @dizzyg thread about the worm...got home yesterday and tackled the job. Man was I wrong about the size of the thing:eek:

I had to dismantle the rock work to get to it and upset a few fish in the process but at least it did not take as long as I thought it would.

I first hosed the rock down to clear all the sand and settlement inside it and left it for 5min in fresh water. Then the task began...had to find him in all the loop holes in the rock. Finally after 10mins I had a glimpse of it.

Got my hammer and chiseled away slowly until there was just enough space to pry it out...

This was by far the freakiest thing I have seen in reefing,I had the jitters, creeps and all that goes with it :lol::lol:

Tried to lay it out and measure it but he was like a wild horse! Probably well over 60cm if it were straight.

    will make one tunnel.

And keep DSB surface clean as can be.

And today you can easily say that you got the biggest worm on MASA. With proof.

I don't think so dude, but living in an area that keeps "crap down" only for him to release it would sure kill my tank.
