    i haven't seen any post , about it .
i used iron straw to remove po4 from my tank , i was putting it in a stoking , (a handful) .for 2/3 days ,longer it release rust , the po4 precipitated in the stocking and you just trow it away , i was doing so once now en then , when i though it was needed
be careful in french it's paille de fer , iron straw not steel wool .
make sure it's plain iron ,no soap or other additive in it i don't know if the composition it's the same in your country .
TRY IT IN A BUCKET BEFORE , I WOULDN'T LIKE TO FEEL RESPONSIBLE IN CASE OF PROBLEMS !!

Hi Jean, please tell us more and post some pictures if possible. The last thing we want is a newbie to visit the scrap yard and chuck the stuff in his tank.

i'll do that as soon as possible .
effectively it's tranlated as : steel wool but in france we got paille de fer whats i translate as : iron straw and laine d'acier with i translate i steel wool.( i think my english is a bit better than some official translation specially when i read books in the 2 languages or watch film and listen to music )
here when people have used steel wool it's nearly alwwais finish badly .
    found a picture : Résultats Google Recherche d'images correspondant à http://www.licencephoto.com/mini_photos/wjsJdRWRRM/Texture-Texture.jpg
AS I SAID TRY IT BEFORE
if somebody wants i can put links to some french post who speaks about the use of it .but it'll be in french .

yes we got p04 remover too , but iron straw is as good and a lot cheaper !!
