Here in SA we get a product called Entice made by Seachem. It apparently makes the food more appealing to the fish and it helps for white spot.

Food soaked in garlic is another option.

    Good luck.

Wringo - try and get some banana (I know - it sounds strange) - and try and feed the PB tang some small pieces of banana. I believe that tangs goes mad for this.

You can also try a mixture of mashed up banana, freshly ground garlic, and mashed (cooked) peas.....

I have read of a lot of reefkeepers who have successfully been able to get their tangs to eat.

I would perhaps also suggest adding some reef vitamins/minerals to the food.

It might be that you PB tang has some parasite problem or perhaps an infection - meaning that the fish MUST eat for it to fight off the problem naturally.

    healing my B tang

    hi friends
after i posted it thread from my work in the seam day back to home and go to my tank i see my tang alright and Put a little food The B tang ate it .
in the night funded B tang on the surface of water and Blocking the passage of water in the over Flow box Preparing for the inevitable death and I've become desperate but ........funded The fish's belly swollen .
Was my idea, I cache The fish And I will put pressure on the belly of it.
, And actually i do it
The fish started taking out a lot of fluid from the anus
I kept pressing gently for an hour.
The fish began to move its tail and fins
Make sure that all the fluid out of that belly
then transferred B tang to external bucket, because I do not have quarantine and put an antibiotic and air stone in that.
The next day founded a fish in full of Activity and transferred again into main tank

And I was very happy healing my B tang.:):)

    Thanks my friends for interesting.
