Plugs

    im sure you guys are familiar with those round two pin plugs(not the normal flat one we get on out appliances)the fat round ones.....normally multi plugs have one spot for them....well im having a prob with one in doesnt stay in the socket and coz of this my ligths wont stay on...my question is is it ok if i hack it off and put a normal 3 pin plug on it...it for a lighting unit...

    You will lose the warranty if any on the unit but other than that no problems. It doesn't even matter which way you connect the wires :p

    ya but how is one supposed to use that plug!!! i think its the DUMBEST:nono: plug eva made!!!!

    They are stupid plugs.
    Some suppliers will allow you to change it to a 3 pin, some will not. Best to ask about the warranty.

    Try bending the two pins outwards a little bit ,it will solve your problem.
