    Hi @Krappie
Can you provide the following information:
    1. How old is your tank including lighting used?
    2. How old is that coral? Are you feeding it anything?
    3. What are your parameter readings (Ca, Mg, Alk)?
    4. What are your nutrient readings (NO3 and PO4)?

My gut feel is that the light is too strong for it (coral not acclimatised correctly to the light) but there may be something else that is at play here.

My tenk is about 1year and 5-6 months old and the lighting about 7months and what happend is... its a friend of mine's coral. He bought it the first saturday of october and then his angel fish was nipping at it. Then we placed it in my tank last week wednesday. And thats what it looked liked in the first pic. And i did try feeding it twice now. But it doesnt seems to be eating the prepared food. I moved it into a bit of shade now.

I am going to say that it is probably the change in lighting that is causing the bleaching. Where about did you move it? Feed it small pieces of hake (about 1cm size) every three days when the tenticle are out. Slowly move it into the lighted area of the tank, I think try moving it a few cms every 3 days or so until it is back out in full light.
    It should hopefully recover. :)
    What are your parameter readings?

Agree , 7.7 -8 is sometime a reading in a healthy tank at night when the P.H drops because of the lights going off ect , but try slowly get your P.H up and the 1 cm piece of hake is also great , just squash it a little and in the beginning put small pieces on the feeding tentacles with the flow off. once hes taken a few small pieces on - switch on again and repeat again in 3 days untill he looks well again.

Test your Magnesium , should be around 1360ish

    P.S
I find the brains do like slightly dirtier water . when the phosphate are slightly higher they do better in my tanks. your tank does seen low nutrient , but direct feeding will help.

First of all measure the alkalinity , because it may also be low...
i normally link a low P.H with a low alk , but it doesn't have to be.

The if its just P.H and your alk is about 9. use Aqua vitro Ballance , its on of the few if not only that will raise p.h with out effecting Alk at all.

if its alk and P.H that's low , the use Seachem marine Buffer ...
The instructions are on the bottle , but instead of putting eg 2 teaspoons in once a week , devide 3 teaspoons up into 7 parts and dose every day until levels are correct again, then you can follow the directions again.
    P.S
The three teaspoons ect was just a example not actual directions.

Bi carb doesn't realy have a limit and overdosing is possible , the marine buffer has strontium magnesium ect in it and is safer to use.
