Plenty of new stock, wohoo

    Guys its been a long time since we got this much stock in and I am happy to say we are ready for everyone. Please come in and have a look as there is just to many things to post pics. So lets start:
    Blue line foxface
    Golden foxface
    Yellow tangs
    Flame angels
    Chevran tang
    Blue eye lemonpeel angels
    Bicolor angels
    Juvenile emperor angels
    Lubbock fairy wrasse
    Flame basslets
    Angula flasher wrasse
    Golden rainbow fish
    Cardinal fish
    Three spot damsels
    Cleaner wrasse
    Six line wrasse
    Rock blennies
    Mandarin fish

    So that is for the fish Now for the inverts
    Got a 100 cleaner shrimps
    And a 100 fire shrimps
    Then we finally got some arrow crabs
    Some nano hermit crabs and tiger turbo snails
    Sea hares
    Short spine urchins
    Priest hat urchins
    Sand shifting starfish
    We also got some nice bubble tip nennies, magnificent nennies and some sand nennies.
    In terms of corals we got a really nice selection now from lps to sps, polyps, zoas, Gorgonians and leathers.

    So hope to see everyone this weekend as there really is alot of nice stock.

    Today you had a beautiful yellow/black butterflyfish for sale (R990). What was the species name?

    Stunning fish....

    No it wasn't. It was yellow and black, black stripe running through the eye and also a black rear anal fin - I cannot recall the exact details but I have not been able to find a pic on Google.

    Yes that is a beautiful fish it is a butterfly, Chaetodon melapterus.
    Truly a stunning speciman also known as a arabian butterfly

    Unfortunately they only eat Acropora polyps and nothing else.

    Yes they are quite difficult feeders there is however ways to get them to feed that we are going to try. This speciman we did not order it came on a shipment by accident, we ordered some other butterflies and they sent this one. We are going to try our best to get this one feeding. Popular ways it putting food on dead acros, we will try it see if we can manage this guy. Otherwise we will be ordering a lot more acroporas iin the future:)

    That's a real pity because it is a really beautiful fish - here's a pic I took of it this morning. Pic does really not do this fish justice at all - it is much nicer looking in the flesh.

    If you do manage to get it eating anything that would be considered reef-friendly and then decide you do not want it in your show tanks - let me know.
