    Hi All

    Yesterday I bought some live rock and found a surprise when I put it in my tank

    Can anyone id this? First thought it was a sponge but then in opened up

    Having googled pics of Epicystis crucifer it could possibly be.

    I also read they are very hardy. So do I keep it or try find a home for it?

    Jewel anemone. They're non photosynthetic and pretty harmless

    Sorry about quality only got a cell cam. I cop the image to make picture smaller but when i insert the pic it blows it up and cause major pixelation. If you check my photo albums it might be better
