Cushion of some kind. If you send it to me my Harlequin shrimp and I will inspect it very closely and let you know.

difficult to say from that picture.

Size, compared to the ricordia's next to it, I would go with blue Asterina starfish. Asterina also have that little indentation right in the middle. But the white specks on the arms should not be there. Blueish asterina normally are one color.

Or could be a small cushion star. The color variations can be valid then.

But a better picture maybe... :whistling:

Well, I never had issues with asterina starfish. Until they ate up my cheato ball.

On my softie tank, I do not have issues either. But some guys have problems in SPS tanks with them.

LPS I have is acan and pipe organ coral. Do not bother the acan. But they did crawl into the pipe organ by the hundreds. Not sure it they after detritus that is within the pipe organ or not, but the coral was not happy. So keep an eye on them. They do multiply easily and you will find them normally on the tank sides eating the biofilm that is growing on the glass.

I have many asterina stars, they eat the coraline but leave my sps alone, well, so far anyway.
