You sure this is a snail and not a worm?
Looks like feet on the upper part of the body?

If it has more than one foot like most snails do then I would guess it is a worm of some kind.
You had this rock for a while or got it recently?
Any idea what region this shipment came from?

It's a bit hard to tell from the quality of your pic. My guess would be that It is a stomatella snail. They are not bad to have. They normally come out @ night but you will sometimes see them during the day as well. They will reproduce quickly once introduced, laying eggs near the surface and release milt (egg fertilizer) making your tank a bit cloudy. The cloudiness will clear up relatively quickly and It is also good coz some fish and filter feeders will eat the milt and eggs. You will have a bloom but they will keep their population in check via die off from hunger coz your tanks algae growth rate can only support a few. They will polish your tank of nuisance algae.
