    If it is a sponge, I doubt if it should be in front of the powerhead.

    Looks nice though...

    Thanks Riaan,its not in the stream of the seio...it does look like it on the photo I agree.

    It is a sponge. Hope you did not let it get ANY air (kept it in the water at all times...) If air gets into it by you lifting it out of water, the air stays put and that is highly deadly to sponges. It will most definetly die if this did happen, and the air was sucked in too deep into it's body and could not be released.

    Also, this is a non photosynthetic coral, thus light is of no importance to it. Flow should be strong, and it should be fed constantly with Phytoplankton, as it needs micro food.

    If you can not supply these requirements to the coral, you will just see it break apart and die.
