    They look like the palyothoas you get from the south coast. Brown edges, very green center and usually packed quite tightly. When you put them in your tank they soften a little with the added space, open up larger, develop short green tentacles and the green becomes quite bright.

    Are there bases fused together into one mat? or are each polyp on its own?

    Seems to be normal Button polyps them.

    Was wondering if they are going to open fully or is this their normal appearance

    Hi Ian, the brown edges look like eyelashes when fully opened and they are easy to keep ,stunning corals, common in K.Z.N coastline.
