dont know if it is a type of a mushroom

Very difficult to tell from the pics. Looks like a small new mushroom growth.
Is it hard or soft ? Does it expand and contract with lights on/off ?

Either leave it to grow some more so you can properly ID it, or try and get a better close-up pic.

it is soft and does extend when lights are on
will try and get a better pic, but it also looks to me like a mushroom type growth

Probably a new mushroom .

i had the same thing growing on my mushrooms. within a month or so all of them looked like that and died off.
have no idea what happened to them as the rest of my LPS and softies are still 100%.
