    hi

sorry to hear... they can hide under rocks, and in very small spaces, have you looked to see if they have jumped? they are jumpers...

if you are loosing fish, i need to ask what is your NH4 readings? the other cause could be predatory crabs etc

Did the quarantine the new fish?
How was the regal tang looking before introducing the fire fish? Perhaps post a pic of the regal so we can try and diagnose it's illness

Your nh4 and no2 should be 0, something is not right. What filtration you have?

But You shouldn't have any ammonia or nitrite, they indicate a biological issue which could be causing stress thus making fish susceptable to diesease and parasites

The nitrite may be spiking due to all the dead fish recently. If your tank is that old, I am sure it will drop.
