Do they have arms? Could be hydroids or very likely they could be the calcerous fanworms

Warren may be ointo something too

It is Nerita snail eggs. Must be the size of silkworm eggs but just white. Mostly together. It is those Nerita snails I gave you. If they hatch, I do not know what happen to them, must become food as i never saw any baby Nerita nails in my tank.

i also woke up one morning and found lots of white dots on my glass, powerheads, even in the back compartments, they were everywhere. On closer inspection they turned out to be tubeworms (featherdusters). I was really suprised to see them pop up so fast, last week most of them stopped coming out and they stopped multiplying too lol. so I had to start cleaning them off my glass (felt too sorry to scrape them off when they were still alive). Just check to see if they dont look like this

Dont think your tank is ready to throw things at it.

As Warren said they lay eggs everywhere doesnt matter how good or bad the water is.

those aren't eggs, they those little tube worms that grow all over, don't worry about them they are good guys. Just scrape them of you front glass with a Stanley blade if they irritate you.

The reason they never hatch is because these eggs need a certain amount oxygen exposure to mature to hatching. Something to do with the tidal zone they normally exist in.

As boendoe says those are tube worms. The dark bit of the spiral is the worm.

clearing the confusion, that is a picture that Vatso could use to ID what he got in his tank. The photo is not of his tank.

If it is Nerita snail eggs, it just means they were pregnant when you got the snails from me.

Your tank is surely still cycling. How old is it exactly?

If so please check out bushmen's thread, if not kept under control it can ruin your entire reef
