I have known of these Hitch Hikers for some time, but recently as they have grown towards the light they have started to turn blue. I have Seen blue Zoanthids but never Palythoa. Is this possible

It could be Palythoa. Taking into consideration, your lighting is extreme, and although they are at the bottom,my guess is they are getting light that is reflecting off the base of your glass (causing them to regrow), and now that they are facing the surface, its probably getting the colouration from direct lighing.IMO
