    Hi
    This is like the third guy I found over the past 2 days, but his one of the bigger one's, It looks like a carpet anemone but i doubt it is, the other two were attached behind some zoas, I have no idea where they came from. and are they good?

    pics are really small. Can you perhaps describe how it looks? Like is the surface smooth etc..

    Its most likely just a common mushroom.

    Looks more like a mushroom to me, but hard to say with the pic

    it looked like a carpet to me, does mushroom have mouths it looks like it has a mouth... and mushroom kinda stick out at the ends dont they? this guys is stuck to the gravel all round, here are better pic's, please mind the mess, was busy with frags...

    look at the blue shrooms in my thread, look anything like it ?

    Nope, looks more like those purple ones,
    are these shrooms?

    no thats not a shroom, its a moon coral

    :dft004: Im soo confused... i dont know what it is, but it looks similar to the moon coral and nothing like shrooms...

    Do an image search of Discosoma mushrooms.

    dude it really does look like a shroom, is it soft to the touch ?take it out of the water and take a pic and we can be sure

    It's hard to say because I can't tell if it's just attached to a piece of skeleton or if it has a skeleton of its own. Hmm...
