I've been told it's a yellow eye tang, or a yellow eye Kole tang... But everywhere I've tried to look it seems slightly different.

It could still be a juvenile and developing colour but I would say it is a Goldring Bristletooth AKA Ctenochaetus strigosus. From the tail shape I would say it's from the pacific and the yellow colour tells me it's still a juvenile

Ok, so i got this little guy today. He is absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! He's in a temporary holding facility until i set up my new tank. He's around 8cm long and a very active little guy. As soon as can get a picture of him I will post it. As usual, the LFS who sold it to the guy i got it from had no clue! Hence the good price, it was sold to him as brown damsel! What a joke...

strigousis (spotted bristletooth) caught one here in E.L. 2 years ago.. quite a nice find so low down.. they are very yellow as juveniles. my one mate went bezerk thinking it was a yellow.. poor bugger nearly drown from excitement.
