Please help ID this coral...

    Hello all, can someone please help ID this coral as the LFS was not able to advise on what it is. I tried google and the closes I got was some type of Goniopora sp.

    Encrusting montipora type? ..... Polyps look bit larger than the usual?

    i dont think montis grow over rocks... and the polyps look way too large. i think its a soft coral like some kind of zoas

    Actually they do ;) ... Encrusting motipora sp. grows over rocks, just I haven't seen 1 with such biggish polyps,beautifull rock tho.watever it is

    The polyps looks like small 3mm pink zoas with a slight greenish centre however when it is touched it completely retracts and the surface is flush. Even though it opened up immediately when I added it to my tank would still like to know whats the vest way to care for it ie. Lighting, flow etc

    I think its a goniopora... especially with such large polyps...
