Play sand in Port Elizabeth

    Can some local please advise me on where I can buy playsand in PE, or can I use the washed up sea sand from Sardinia Bay? Its for my DSB.

    hi there plankton i tryed 2 get from reegies but thay have told me thay can order but has not come yet that was 6moths ago

    i used live sand from flatrocks, go at low tide, spring low if you can. it will have all the goggo's you need and what's cheaper free. you can't beet natural IMHO. you can also add some micro bacter 7 it's got all the arobic and anarobic bacteria you need.

    just to add, i just took some really fine sand from the beach in yzerfontein, works a treat for a DSB

    For display yes, but a waste of money for a DSB in my opinion as fine live seasand is more than adequate, if not the best.
