    Anybody else have it in their tanks? I have some onn a small piece of rock. My rocks were in a bucket for a while but strangely it kept on growing, that's why I'm asking about the lighting

    ive seen this on the rocks on shelly beach bout three weeks ago.
    saw some that looked like plating monti's

    I get this in some of the lower light regions of my tank (strangely enough)it really looks awesome I must say.

    Got some of it as well, being slowly dying back, don't think it likes my MH light

    They look great, but you will need to supplement Ca Alk and MG as coraline eats it like no mans business

    I seen a tank of my friends had lots of plating coraline, but he was running a calcuim reactor and ca was always high.

    I got the maroon plating coraline. I use 2x 150w mh and 4xT5. @MavrickFDT thats just a macro algae, I also have it. Feel it, if its soft then its macro, hard then its coraline

    I came across a thread on another forum, where a guy had a whole collection of different corallines with pics. It was awesome. I love the miniature monti look

    Check the photo's of my tank. I will make a new picture, because there is a lot more now.

    I just saw the pics on ur thread, its amazing. You got some nice softies too. So it seems that coralline is widely adaptable to different lighting. I'm going to try growing some of this.I'm sure flow affects their growth patterns.

    Hey. i had that in my 2m tank. it grew mostly on the rocks closest to surface..... i was running 150watt MH and T5s .........

    I have lots of it in my tank, the maroon type. Using 2 150watt MH and 4 T5'S.
