Hi Gents,

I am in deep thought about putting a tank in my office.

Planned dimensions are: 2000l x 800w x 700h

I am planning on having a mature pair of Imperator angels in there, plus maybe a few wrasses to add vibrance.

What you guys think?

that sounds nice.how about more info on subsrate, sump etc.....

Haven't got that far yet....

But more than likely a very thin aragonite substrate, probably a 5ft sump, and a TS3 or 4 skimmer. Might try some zoos in there as well.

Sounds great. Would love a tank at work. Make it an predator tank with a couple lionfish. Any employees gives you hassles, threaten to stick their hand in the tank... see how they work then....

Great size tank...

I so agree with you Jan,

I am definitely doing a predator tank at the office, few lions and...um..wat other predators are there?

EJ with all your travels just make sure you can "lock" the tank or else someone is going to love and feed your fish to death. Seen it with a FW I had at the office.

My office door locks CB, have confidential stuff in here that prying eyes can't see....

Only myself and the MD have keys to my office, and he's a "fish" bloke, having kept FW for millennia, so i won't stress.

Great idea EJ, make it an angel tank... Put a flame, coral beauty(always wanted these 2- they compliment each other), a regal angel, semi circle. And a gem just for good luck. Like the idea of the wrasse's aswell, they always add life. Try a coris and a 6line.

I may be wrong here but does the coris not grow to like 70cm or something. If so I would stay away.

Coris wrasse usually stay much smaller than that in the aquarium, but if it does get to big they make for great eating.

I've decided on just the angels, with about 5 or so wrasses and the obligotory clean up crew.

Will be having the offices painted at the end of June, so will only start setting this puppy up after that.

EJ i'd add a couple of goldies in to balance the colour and get a bit more movement.

Also a gentle reminder lets not eat our pet fish.

Who has kept a flame angel with a coral beauty? I thought that was a big no no to keep them together.

I have a flame, coral bueaty and a multibar angel in the same tank. Had an African Angel (Pomacanthus chrysurus) in there with them, but it started nipping at my clams, so had to go.
The rest of the angels are fine together, but remember all angels are hit and miss weather they will eat inverts.
HTH,
Neil

I have decided to go another route with the tank, but i'll suprise you guys soon enough...
