I'm sure some of you guys out there have shone a torch in a rockpool at night and seen millions of little planktonic creatures come to the light?
Do you think I would be introducing some nastys if I scooped these and put them in my tank. was thinking this would be a good food source for corals fish etc?

Dude, after watching Jaws last weekend I'm not going anywhere near water at night. But I'm sure it's a great way to re-seed your pod population and bring in fresh life. I don't think there will be too much in the way of nasties though.

I think it would be a good idea, possibly put them in a bucket overnight with light aeration and check them in the morning before introducing them in case there are small crabs, etc. that you might not want to introduce.
