Goby, especially those that do have symbiosis with pistol shrimps. That will be super cool (as my son would put it)

Yip Watchman Goby will be fine with a pistol shrimp;)

The tank your size I'd keep only one pair as they will keep on fighting for territory.

there are a number of gobies that will form a symbiotic relationship with pistol shrimp and i would suggest you read up on various options and find the one you like the most.

a pair Stonogobiops nematodes or a Yasha Goby Stonogobiops yasha would be great. small little fish and rather shy but facinating to see with the shrimp combo:)

yes they are stunning fish, ive kept a pair for a while but closed that tank down. they can be tough to get to feed, and shy at first, but with a shrimp digging away they (the fish) tend to settle in well and be far more outgoing. cute little fellas:)

as Crispin said, there are a lot of different Goby species that do form symbiotic relationships. Also with different shrimps.

But I must admit, the yellow of the watchman gobies are really nice.

I bought mine seperately and they paired up themselves within a day.

There are some species that are more compatible but there is good chance they will pair up anyway. From what I have heard the yellow watchman will pair up with quite a few species of pistol shrimp. Try and get them from the same shipment.

Just make sure your rocks are really solid because they will dig under them, I must say mine makes quite a mess in my tank. Very interesting to watch.
    Here is mine.

Its a A. wheeleri goby and and Alpheus bellulus shrimp.
