Ok... So got the new nano, checked last night for water proofing and found the closed loop to be leaking big time.

So I took it appart and going to reseal it tonight. i am going to use pvc cement for most pieces as in the past I found this to be the most waterproof of methods. Any other recomendations?

PVC cement and silicone it will be, any other suggestions?

My closed loop leaked after using pvc cement...
Second time round I used PVC cement on the skrew-in joints and then still sealed it with silicone...that did the trick...

I ha done pressure point where it was too much for the silicone and PVC. Used PVC on the joint, then duck-taped it, then silicone over that. Now it doesn't leak...
Sure there will be better options around than that though....I was in a hurry...;)

for pvc to pvc use Tangit pvc glue, works like a charm and the join becomes very solid.
whe you have the glass meet pvc you can use silicone there

sealed my leaks with silicone. Droped the water level, made sure all the parts that needed sealing were dry and added alot of silicone. The silicone got pushed into all the crevises (unlike pvc which tends to run everywhere) and problem solved! just make sure you apply the silicone evenly and dont get bubbles.
