    please will you give me info on the ph controller ie how it works what it does? iv never used one before
    does it actually keep ph stable of just give you a reading?

    It is a controller - so you can switch a solenoid , kalkreactor etc on and off around a pH set point.

    This can be done up or down .;)

    I have the pinpoint one... it's pretty cool. It does require regular maintenance and delicate handling though. I didn't take care of mine and I think I may have broke it. But it's a really neat thing to have if you take good care of your things. I'm pretty rough with my stuff though... I even managed to break my refractometer (though that one was partly my husband's fault too).
