masa will be my no1 on the list of references. i have to get like at least 5 different references. fathers want to see them. any other sources i can add to my list?

can't do, father is coming from alaska. he wants me to be home when he arrives. how late is it? maybe i can crack a deal with the chauffeur and he can drive me around before father hits deck.

I would reccomend that you do your homework properly first, i understand that your dad is putting pressure on you and money doesnt seem to be an issue but im sure he would be happier with you knowing exactly what you are doing. When you buy a pre built tank like that you are very limited rather listen to the guys that have been doing this hoby for years. Build a custom unit that you can always add equipment or upgrade.

Well that is my opinion i would rather know exactly what is going on and show my dad that im doing it right and not just blowing the cash

Read read read! And you will find that the LFS that gave you that quote is trying to sell you old technology and there is much better technology on the market. Rather get the right equipment and stand a better chance of making a success of this hobby and not like the jetski...
