    Hey guys,

Can someone please help id this algae. Like the title says it's pinkish redish fleshy algae. Started growing as tiny bubbles first on a liverock then grows into a fleshy leaf that resembles a hand kind of shape.

Now it's starting to grow on my flow pump. So a bit concerned if it should go or not. Thanks.

Halymenia, Rhodymenia, Titanophora...about 50 others. Hundreds of red algae species and they're a big pain to ID, especially when small. Hardly any pest species though, so just let them be.

its a type of red bubble algae, but not as "dangerous" as the green bubble algae..they are also very very easy to remove manually, they attach by one small tiny thread... but i would leave it,hey arent that evasive..i had some few months ago..looked really nice until i added a baby foxface..now dont have any left..

Thanks for replies everyone. Think I'll leave it be and see what it turns into once it grows more
