Pincushion vs. Hammer

I have had one of my pincushions get to close to my hammer coral and he attacked it. The pincushion has totally withdrawn. I have moved it to safety, how long will it take for the pincushion to recover from this attack ?

pincusions are pretty hardy,give him about a week and he should be fine.also had my pincusion stung sometime back by my hammer,but he's doing well now

Yip and his surface was blue earlier when the lights were still on

Warr they sometimes cover themselves in a film(layer of slime) to protect themselves, takes them a week or so to shed it
