are your tank mature or is the tank and water a week old? If not your parameters will fluctuate and that can put some stress on corals

    The tank is
2nd hand and 5 years old. Do yiu think the move caused stress?

It is opening and closing and seems generally happy.

Anything i should watch out for

I had Zoas die off coz of Mg fluctuations. Bit if your parameters are in check then it might be of the move. As long as its opening up from time to time then you are in the safe zone. Is there sufficient light? Maybe try move him more towards the direct light. Maybe the veterens have some advice or experienced the same scenario

It does not open where the bald spot is. It looked almost like bone. the bald spot seems to be covered by something now, might be a scab?

Could be a brown jelly disease spot. Fish sometimes also munch Pins and cause some damage. Just keep an eye on it. Usually best to clean the spot. Dip the coral and have decent flow.

Ok so now theres a white spot thats developing in the centre of the bare patch do you think its healing or getting worse?

The boss at home suggested we cut of the affected area as thats what she saw in youtube. Not too sure about this option

Great news. The bald spot has healed completely with polyps growing.
