why are they horizontal? I must be doing something wrong

is it not strange for a clown pair to parent one of their own?
I'm not entirely sure i understand the question, but it is quite normal to see large families of clowns inhabiting the same anemone.

Ok I was wondering why this pair was protecting what looked to me like their baby and from what I understand is that in nature the larvae drifts away or get eaten. And this was a small nennie and they were really aggressive if I tried to get closer thought they would chase him out of the nennie
