Click the Gallery link in the top navigation bar to start uploading all your stunning pics. All photo's uploaded will be randomly displayed on the Home Page

You can also use this feature as your own personal photo gallery as you will see under your name in your posts another link to YOUR personal gallery of all pics you have uploaded. There is also a link in each members user profile under Referrals.

Sorry, one more thing, can I please ask of you to restrict your uploads to only fish, corals etc. Due to the fact they are being displayed on the home page, the last thing we need the world to see is psycho's backyard plumbing job :lol:

Nice feature this. What is the maximum upload size etc. Can I upload all of my 4000 photos...lol?

Maybe add a feature to moderate them. Then no one's porn images will land up on the home page.
 
Hey Galibore

Each member is restricted to 25 photo's each (so choose your best ones;)), max upload size is 195 kb per image, all images uploaded will be moderated and will not be displayed until approved by a mod/admin :)

What type of file do the pics have to be? it won't accept bitmap.
 
Where on earth did you even find a bitmap?

Irfanview is converting to Bitmap. let me see if i can change its settings.

Bitmaps are a lot bigger than other formats so it is generally not accepted as a "Web Format". You can use MS Paint to convert it to jpg without loss of quality.
 
small update on this feature, all users are now restricted to uploading a maximum of 25 photo's each.
 
LOL Nice Viper will try find some pics:) (Not sure if there are even better than psycho's backyard plumbing job LOL)

The first bit of that is true. Not so sure of the second bit though, mspaint is terrible at converting to jpg. I'm not sure what quality level it saves them at but it seems pretty low. I only use mspaint to convert if I'm being lazy and take a screenshot or something. IrfanView is much better.

not really, although I suppose it would be nice if it was a gallery of pictures just from our members tanks :)
