    Hey Peeps

I would just like to know you guys personal opinion about phosphate reactors.
Is it good to have and will it be ok for a reef/fish tank and what kind of media to put inside it.Don't want a media that contains alumunun it kills corals.

If you have a serious phospate problem a phosphate reactor is a great idea.:p

It's been used for many, many years in fish/reef tanks and they are great.

Aluminium based media has also been used for many years and will only cause a problem if you get your pH down to 4 or something. Of course every coral/fish in the tank will have died long before that so use it with freedom, I do. (in a full mixed reef (predominantly SPS))

There are other ways to get your phospates down, like N/P pellet reactors, but that is another discussion.
