Hey bud, what do you have in your sump at the mo if nothing then you can use NP pellets or bio cubes, but the cubes don't need a reactor.

then you can use either pellets or cubes
It will remove both so just be carefull
it does not remove all your nitrates and the tank my may cycle all over.

So you say it wont have a negative impact on my tank like lower it to much and so on. So you say bio cubes is beter.

Sorry, lets take a step back here, what are you trying to achieve and why?

A product which will facilitate biological removal of N and P in one reactor, yes, biocubes or pellets. But complete removal of P, unlikely, as N will most likely be limiting...
You will still need dedicated P removal media, phosphaguard, antiphos, phosphat stop, etc. Not to be mixed with cubes.

So no reactor to do all three, and carbon, nooo, not in same reactor either.
At best, you will need a reactor for pellets, or a simply cheap air pump for cubes.
Add a dedicated reactor or filter for phosphate media and a hang on filter for carbon.

Lowering it gradually by using lower that the recommended amount should do the trick, I would not say one is better the other it's personal preference, but what I have read and spoken to people the cubes are less maintenance from that the pellets require topping up. The tecnical part to the 2, people that run will have to help you. Like Irie said there are other opitions aswell that may better suit what you need to do keeping in mind you want to remove both.
