Ive been looking at almost all the vids on youtube and i think im sold on these units.
Now just to decide between a cube or 4ft. So it will either be 1 or 2 units. And what will the realistic depth be that these units can handle for good coral growth. 700 deep???

    Regards

yes, but you do loose some features like, sunrise/sunset lunar cycle !!! When using the unit only you are only able to dim the unit individually.

Do they have to be run on a normal timer then?
Is the controller then only for running sunrise & sunset cycles?
Sorry for asking. Im thinking of trying them out without the controller at first...

The wireless remote adds the intelligence, but we need to play and see exactly what you can do with/without the controller.

No storm, infact selling the SmartSun to users, no one was really keen on the storm function as the general feeling was it stressed out the fish.

Sunrise/Set, cloud simulation and lunuar cycle setting, but no lighting function

We have only received payment for 2 units, so we have enough left :)

    Hi Andre

I have a question. My setup is going to be 90cmx30cmx30cm. I am seriously considering getting two of these units. But I wanted to ask if there will be a spillover of light issue considering the depth of my setup?

    Thanks

    Daniel

Hi Daniel, to be honest getting two of these units for your tank dimensions, is quite an overkill. And yes you will get quite a bit of light spillage.

You are better off looking at our CREE 600mm UNIT , this too will be too intense if not suspended. A tank 30cm low and wide is quite small.

No, but no need as all required control is built on board ;-)

    Each unit covers 65cmx65cm

I still need to test properly and check the limits.
