I got my pH meter from Waterboy, really nice.

Tested my nano, pH 8.1 spot on. Then proceeeded to test one of my FW setups. I almost fainted, pH 8.4. Then I was worried and tried to figure out what could cause it. Then I tested my tap water. It had a pH of 8.5.

Surely water with a pH with 8.5 is not suitable for drinking? Or is it still acceptable?

Have the same problem where i live apparently it is with in acceptable ranges.

O ok then. Thought it would be better to drink soap.. a bit safer..

Hi Im have just tested my tap water pH. I get 7.65, same area as Galibore. Rand Water.

sorry a bit off topic.can the meter be placed in the water full time or just to be placed in the water while you testing gali?

Mekaeel, that I won't know. Sorry.

Rod, Not sure it's from the same treatment plant. Different cities. I will get a test kit soon and make sure.

How much does those babies go for?

Cyber,

I'm honestly not sure. I bought it with other stuff and only asked for the total. Best bet is to contact Marco.

Oops sorry I meant to say pH pen.

Yes, it has an external probe which is extendible.

I don't think those little batteries would last very long in permanent use mekaeel, worth a try though
