Paying it forward has always worked for me and I always look out for new and innovative ways and means to do it. PLUS We look into ways we can make this hobby more affordable for beginners and also how we could help you with that upgrade on your existing aquarium when this thought process led to ……….
Why can’t we do both, with your assistance and support.
We intend to buy back your old units for credit towards a specific upgrade.
THEN
We will sell your old unit @ COST on to beginners and other cash strapped hobbyists that want to start in this great hobby.
This mean
YOU get your new unit at a reduced price
AND
YOU are assisting the next reefer/generation without going through all the motions of getting them into your house.
We will also ask you to donate any other working hardware that we can pass on, on your behalf. These will be priced very low, just to cover our actual costs and not to make a profit in Pet Stop SA’s account.
BUT Please do not bring RUBBISH as we want to assist the new owners to become successful and not make their life miserable.
Terms and Conditions for returning old hardware for credit.
1. Procedure:
a. Bring your hardware
b. We test it while you identify the replacement product
c. We make you an offer on your unit and pass this as a credit on your purchase
d. You buy the new product
e. All in the same day
f. We sell your old unit on to the next reefer
2. Should the upgrade product you want, not be in stock and it need to be ordered, a 60% deposit is needed PLUS the credit will be added on top of that deposit.
3. Only manufactured hardware will qualify for shop credit. No DIY products will be eligible for any credit.
4. Secondhand hardware will be valued at a second hand resale price as decided by Pet Stop.
5. The risk, arranging and costs towards a Courier and any damages of such goods are solely between the courier company and you, NOT Pet Stop SA. Therefore a picture catalogue will be kept.
6. Products returned will only qualify for credit IF upgraded to the same kind of product. Example Skimmer for skimmer, pump for pump, light for light, Aquarium for aquarium. Etc..
