    Sup people..

I have a cleaner shrimp in my tank and I have peppermint shrimp dripping at the moment. Can I add the peppermint shrimp in with no worries? Scared the cleaner will kill them.

@Toolboysa how big are your peppermints? Mine are tiny like 2cm long and my cleaner is a big oke. I have a 5ft DT and the cleaner stays on the left side of the tank. If I introduce the peppers on the right side you reckon it will be cool?

I have a peppermint in with a cleaner and a fire, the fire and cleaner shrimps are not that much bigger than peppermint but there are times the will have ago at him, especially the cleaner. Nothing serious though as the peppermint always retreats.:p

Mine where all full adult size when I shut my 1.2m tank down. Peppermints are very shy infact I wouldnt see mine for a few days at a time.

I didnt find cleaners to be aggressive. Fire shrimp on the other hand was a different story. They would chase the cleaners and peppermints if they saw them.

When I was dealing with WS in my DT, I had all six shrimp in a jebo r338, and the only problems was with the fire shrimp. Had to put lots of live rock in for lots of hiding places

I reckon if they clever enough they should be ok lol.:p
Does it really matter what side you introduce them? Wouldn't they find a territory no matter where they are introduced?

well if I introduce them on the opposite end of the tank its less likely that the cleaner will see them

Serious!!! I must get me some of those fire shrimps then. My lone ranger, I hardly see. I only get to see him now and then at feeding time, my peppermint comes out more than him.

I see, plus you have a nice big tank so they could hide away easily. My 3 are currently in a little 140l holding tank.

The reason I was concerned was because long ago a guy on masa (slagter) introduced peppermint shrimp into his tank and as soon as they reached the bottom his cleaner shrimps tore them apart
