Do anybody know about this? Or anybody got it in their tank?
    Or the Eductor,
The Penductor is a ripoff of the Eductor.

But had anybody tried them, know what I'm talking about?

Hmmm, hell i haven't heard of anybody using them or selling them here. Now that i see what they are i remember reading a thread a few years back on RC and the guys there were happy with them.

Very effective at ramping up overall water movement. Uses water velocity leaving source and effectively converts that into an overall increase in volume. Similar to the way a ram jet works

from what i can remember they do boost the output of the flow of the pump or should i rather say the distance it pushes, but they need strong pumps to work them and ( i stand so corrention) alot of the pumps used with these units had premature failure.. again im going on what i remember. having said that we use them in our chrome plant at work but i have not had time to assess their performance..

I have been looking for one to play with for a long time now - IF they ever become available in SA I would be very interested. Having said that, I do believe they are rather large (and ugly :whistling:) and one would have to think carefully about where to put them.

the ones we have are apporx 10 - 12 cm.. so placement would be critical.. perhaps a good tool for CLS systems returning from below the rockwork? if there is nothing that can go wrong in time?

Leslie, can you look into them when back at work. Are they plastic, marine safe?
What is the size of them?

the ones we have are plastic but i unfortunatley wont be able to check on them as they are submersed in a chromium 6 chemical, very hazardous.. touch it and you have cancer in 3 days.. the area is obviously unless maintenence is required.. but they are big from what i remember iwll look for the pics i took of them..

This guy actually did some comparison tests, with videos for proof. Definitly both eductor and penductor gives a lot more focused and stronger flow all the way accros his tank.

Eductors. How well do they really work? - The Reef Tank

I recon on 2 alternating current exits on a closed loop system, this will be excellent.
