Was thinking to use 10 x PAR38 36watt LED dimmable bulbs over a 1.5 x .7 x .6 mixed reef tank with sps/lps and softies. Any comments or thoughts?

I think @Submariner sells these and will most likely be able to shed some light on the subject (pardon the pun :) )

For the price of 10x PAR38 you can build a kick ass DIY LED unit rather

PAR38 are great. But you cant control the color

Think they are better suited for nanos but I suppose if you slap 10 on there it would work.

@Toolboysa I am not concerned to control the color, wanting to know if 10 lamps would be sufficient for the amount of light needed for sps?
