    dv8 - not sure about clubs, but PM our member Tom a bit - ask him about this and whether you guys can get together perhaps....

    Kanga WAS in PE - but he has relocated to Malkbosstrand, Cape Town :)

    OK - click on "Search" at the top right of the MASA window.... type in "Tom" at the Username/member name field...
    When Tom's username is displayed, click on his name..
    This will bring up a window where one of the options are "Send PM to member".
    PM = Private Message

    There are another one or two other PE members, but I cannot remember their names now....

    Hi, there are a few PE members here and there is marine/reefer clubs in P.E, although I'm not a member, I think the best person to contact is Steve Warren, just click on his name in my post, then send him a PM.

    You can't be expected to remember everybody's location.;)

    dv8, There are a few other PE members, some not very active and some don't list their location. Another way of seeing who some of the PE members are is to;
    Click on "Members List",
    Then on "Search Members",
    Then "Advanced Search",
    Type in "Port Elizabeth" under location and search.
    That will show all members who have listed Port Elizabeth as their location, don't search for PE, as that shows all locations with the letters "pe" such as Cape Town

    The marine club here in PE is known as "Algoa Marine Aquarists? Society of Port Elizabeth" or amas. And is very old, you will find it in the phone book or contact Steve Warren at Bayworld and he will help you.

    Right! Now where them pics? :D. Tank, sump, lights, wife/gf, umm.. LOL!

    Chaetodon auriga, has been know to eat nudibranches and occurs locally in summer, but there is also a very good chance that they eat your corals as well.

    hey guys. just wondering if you baaienaar's (people from p e ) all buy your stuff (lives stock, equipment) from lfs's ? or from some place els? now that there is only one fish store in p e it seems the prices have just sky rocketed, i mean to insane proportion. could we perhaps come together and order directly and pay for one shipment. just an idea. i'm tired of being ripped off. also perhaps then we could also swop frags etc? letme know , p m me e mail me whatever. or just give me a contact from where i can order things myself. i do have one contact who used to work at "the bridge" he is now suplying the western cape or more spesificaly cape town. so, help?

    Bought a few peppermint shrimps (R160) this week, but as these are my first peppermint I can't comment on the price. But I will say that the quality of the live stock is very good. Of all the fish and shrimps I've bought from them, only one shrimp did not survive more than a week, rest of the fishes and shrimps all survived except for a Copperband after three months and a power failure.

    i agree with moz the livestock is great from our lfs. the pricing of the livestock isnt bad, if you compare it to other fish shops they pretty much the same.

    i totaly agree, the live stock is awsome. IMHO i think the price has jumped a bit too much. i think they mite be getting a bit gready? i remember when cleaner schrimp where 100-115 rand. and that was not too long aggo. perhaps i am being a bit too harsh, with the prices of everything going up, and the whole economy thing. i guess if one was to compare prices with jhb and ct or other big cities they could be on par. i just don't want to be ripped off. its as simple as supply and demand.
