Ozone?????

    HI All

    I would like to find out more about Ozone? how it works and can I use an O3 fitting that was installed by another water company for drinking use?

    Ozone acts to oxidize nitrites to nitrates. It also sterilizes the water it comes into contact with, and leaves no residual compounds. It gives water its polished look. If you are careful and know why you are dosing it, you'll be fine...

    But if you overdose, the tank and especially the fish, are screwed. Even the guys at Ushaka got it wrong once. They ended up killing some of their sharks.

    I have no experience with ozone apart from the above info...
