Just blend some seafood mix like crab, calamari, shrimp, white mussels(excluding shells obviously) etc and a couple of sleeves of nori in the mix. Also add some garlic. Drop the mix in a couple of ice cube trays and freeze. I feed one block every second day. Not every day.

Also remember to defrost the seafood mix in some RO water. Just dump them in and leave until soft. Then chuck in the blender. It looks like something your dog would throw up, but your LS will love it. :yeahdude:

PS, I've read that brocoli can also be added. So yea, you can add that as well.

you might want to add a binding agent so that the cube of food doent disintegrate when you put it in water. That fouls up water quickly... You might also want to add some pure vitamin C powder to boost immune systems (the products name is balance-C, think that is about the only product without flavourants and so on), and some kelp powder that you can pick up at most health stores. You can also add a good quality flake or pellet food that you have ground up.

That's why you don't feed it every day. You may also want to drain off the excess "juices" from the mix before freezing it.

Another idea from Oom Hennie is to put a spoon of the mixed food in small clear bread/sandwitch bags and flatten it. Now you put them all on top of each other in the freezer. Easy to break off a piece when needed and it won't get frostbite :)

I know a lot of people uses it and it might work, I just prefer the natural type foods, and land or ground grown greens are not natural sea food. There is also the danger of pesticides and toxic sprays on those type foods :(

So who's going to dispute the fishies liking human foods - I aggree about the pesticides but what about people like me who dont eat meat and spend that little extra on "organic grown veggies" and have our own home grown veggies....

Not too clued up on that, but I would say fresh garlic chopped up rather than the ready made crushed garlic in the stores as they might have oils and other additives in them.
