Hi all. Need some advise please. I want to add a sump to my tank, unfortunately the only way for me to do this is by adding an overflow box. Call me stupid but I have no idea how to plump it ie how do I attach the tubing to the bottom of the overflow box? I know how to set it up just no idea how to connect tubing to the bottom. Or do I have connect piping and not tubing.

Attached are photos of the connector.

PVC pipe goes into the bottom as in the first picture. The union is a female union, so pipe goes inside...

Can use silicone or PVC cement. Silicone can be taken apart later. Can setup everything temporary with silicone first and later redo it with PVC cement when you got everything as you want it.

Ah, I thought the only option with this box was going to be pipe. Thanks for advice. Really appreciate it. Here's hoping I don't have many siphon breaks haha.
