We started our Nano Aquarium in August 2015 and our equipment consist out of a Boyu TL450 with an additional wave maker and Halea Cooler.

    Fish List:

    1 X Clown Anemone fish

    1 x Decorated Goby

    1 x Banggai Cardinal Fish

    Inverts List:

1 x Red Leg Hermit Crab

1 x Blue Leg Hermit Crab

    1 x Scarlet Cleaner Shrimp

    1 x Emerald Crab

    2 x Nassa Snails

    Unknown Amount of Brittle Stars

    1 x Giant Feather Duster

    Coral List:

    1 x Elegance Coral

    4 x Elephant Ear Mushrooms

    +/- 130 Button Polyps

    1 x Peach Digitata Coral

Our tanks looks after itself pretty well with minimum input and effort from our side.

We conduct water changes every two weeks, water parameters and maintenance tasks of the tank is recorded using AquarioGest Saltwater software.

Like all aquariums we have our challenges from time to time and currently we are faced with the fact that our elegance coral has grown too big for our tank so we must either part ways or start a bigger tank.

Thanks EFJ we got a bit of time to decide exactly what we wang to do. As it stands a friend of ours has left the hobby and has donated a bunch of stuff. Still need to go and collect it to see what is there and what not.

I had marine fish before and sold it all off about 10 years ago... If I only knew that my kids would of been exposed to Finding Nemo and Dory I probably would of stayed in the hobby.

Took a drive over the weekend and have to report the current rand/dollar exchange rates aren't really helping our hobby

Very nice bud. I am often amazed at what is possible to achieve in the plug and play tanks.

Thanks red deacon, I guess it is like anything the better you look after it the better results you will achieve.

I have to say they there are one of two improvements that I would like to make to the TL450.

Firstly I do feel that the protein skimmer needs some improvement and secondly I would love to fit the unit with a proper LED light.
