    Hi

I would like to use the product in my RSM 130d -any ideas where would be the best flow - my other chemical media is below the return pumps, but as the orca requires/work better with oxygenation, somewhere near the skimmer might be better?
    Thanks

    See picture of filtration attached

I had a RSM 250, slightly different, how about placing it in area just before below the skimmer, or in the chamber just before the returns in chamber 6?

That's what I was thinking but then accessibility becomes a problem (I think they will need to be rinsed once a month?)- what about on top of 2 with airstone?

why not place a bag with airstone in chamber 4? thats after skimmer outflow though . You shouldnt get any micro bubbles over the baffel past the heater (chanber 6) but you may need to watch for that.

You could look at removing (7 and 8) which i would do anyway and add cubes there, but i wouldnt put a airstone in that xchamber as the return pumps (9) will suck the bubbles into the tank.

Thanks Crispin, chamber 4 could work, or as you said in 7/8 but without airstone. In 7 & 8 I have Phosguard and Chemi pure eilite. What do you think about on top of the sponge in chamber 2 with airline?

you could possibly do that, i just personally dont like to restrict the skimmer on RSM at all and that chamber is upstream of the skimmer intake and thus i would try 4 first. The issue you may have will be access to that area and you might find it difficult to remove the skimmer (for whatever reason) later on if you use 4. But i think you can work around that.

I do think cubes in a RSM would be a great addition to a limited space and increased biological filtration, so def see what you can achieve:)

Are you planning on leaving the Phosgaurd and Chemi pure elite in? just curious as I am thinking of adding cubes to my TL 550 and also have Phosguard and Chemi pure elite in at the moment, not sure if I should remove them when adding the cubes.

Hi - I read somewhere that they could work together so my plan is to leave in.

I think (I really don't know)as Chemi pure elite is a type of carbon this has other benefits, but in theory phosguard would be redundant if orca cubes are working as designed.

Number 2 is also a an excellent place. If you place it in number 4 with an airstone, they wont need to be rinsed.
No need to remove these, just carry on as usual.
