Orca bio cubes

    I wanna get masa members opinions on orca bio cube?

    Do they work or not?

    They work, used for 3 years my po4 and no3 are spot on. Are they worth it yes as for 6 months I have no worries about nutrient export etc.

    Hi dallasg did u use the bomb method ..
    I havent used it yet was contemplating geting them ..
    Heard u got to use a airstone in it

    Yes they are designed to be low cost to implement, airstone and pump. They come with a bag to hold them, my tanks all run on them, check my thread

    I have been using them for 2 years now and yes they work really well.

    Should one use Orca Titanium or Nitra-Guard? in a new setup?

    Nitra Gaurd removes both PO4 and NO3, titanium remove NO3 when you have no PO4

    The nitra gaurd cubes work using redfield so they use PO4 to consume NO3, the titatium you can use to remove excess NO3 when you have no PO4

    Didn't work for me. I gave them 6 months and had no change in parameters. Back to vodka and already seeing positive results.

    Worked.... Umm....Still Working for me for the last 11 Months!! Nutrients is undetectable!!

    Hi @mandrin System is +/- 950Litres

    Display is +/- 850Litres
    Tank Dimensions 1850 x 750 x 650

    Sump is 100Litres

    I have to say i found if the method of use is slightly not right the results differ so much.

    If you use the bomb is this not simple to implement and not much room for error?

    Works for me, started my tank with it and keeps my NO3 and PO4 in check. Use as directed and you won't have problems.
