Orange Snail id needed

    Hey guys.

    Check out this snail. Found it in local rock pools. Very interesting snail. Anyone know anything about them. Are they reef safe,poisonous? what do they eat?[​IMG]

    With that big snout I would take a guess at possibly a gigantea conch? Not too sure though.

    Thanx. Ive googled it a bit and it seems to be a conch species. Doesnt look reef safe. feeds on snails etc.

    i'm going with either a Faciolaria lugubris lugubris or a afrocominella elongata

    yea i am also thinking Faciolaria lugubris lugubris but it could also be Fusinus ocelliferus.
