Opinion on this rock

    Hi guys..I bought some of this rock with a few things recently. what you guys think. ..doesn't look like any normal live rock iv seen although it looks very porous...looks like huge coral colonies of something like a sun coral perhaps...will it be suitable? What you think of all the gaps...possible detitrus traps?

    I won't mind using the rock as it will make for awesome scaping

    I am definitely no expert but that looks like a whole whack of chicken bones glued together...

    looks man made. Difficult to say from just a picture.

    But as Ryno say, it will be a great pod factory.

    It's not man made..looks like a dead skeleton of huge black sun coral perhaps

    If not man made, then why not use it. Very interesting.

    I have seen this type of "rock" before. It's actually coral skeleton. could have been from a large frogspawn or torch coral maybe?

    Looks awesome. I also think it looks like lots of long torch pieces, broken and stuck together.
