Basically a miniature underwater remote operated vehicle [ROV] that is open source for development. You can register to participate and there is a web store coming soon where you can buy plans to build, completed kits to build or buy the complete unit.
Would definitely be of use in public aquariums to check out problem areas (leaks) or what is growing in inaccessible areas (caves).
Or for those interested in doing there own ocean exploration or checking out what's in their tank from a different angle.
