One of my biggest dreams came true

    Since I was small little laaitjie I always wanted a sea fish tank and finally got the finances and time to let the dream come true.

    Here is some pics and other info.

    Tank got wet in Feb
    Total system volume 800l
    DT +- 675

    Yip 1st tank but did research for like 2 years

    Its an L shape tank the long side 1.3m
    Short side 0.6m on a 1.1m stand.

    This how my tank look now.

    Is there anything I can do to better my sump? Any other media I can add?
    When will all the brown stuff go away?

    This week that hairy green algae started to grow I must sort that out.

    If you are still getting algae blooms I would stop adding fish for now since it seems you already have quite a collection going there. Also make sure to clean the filter wool on top of your ceramics often enough.
